This insert has a higher volume / lower compression ratio than our VHM standard insert, meaning better over revolution characteristics and more top speed. However, keep in mind that this compromises bottom power reaction. The combustion chamber fits the VHM cylinder head perfectly and is easy to change. The last numbers of the part number are engraved to the insert for identification.

Use in combination with VHM head AA33167 (for 300EXC & TE300) and AA33172 (for 300EXC TPI & TE300i)

27.5cc (recommended standard for non - TPI models)

This insert with 27.50cc volume is the VHM standard for KTM 300EXC/300SX / Husqvarna TE300/TC300 and is developed for the best overall performance. The combustion chamber fits the VHM cylinder head perfectly and is easy to change. The last numbers of the part number are engraved on the insert for indentification.

This insert has a lower volume / higher compression ratio than our VHM standard insert, meaning more low and middle range torque. This improves acceleration and gives an increased torque feeling when exiting corners. However, keep in mind that this compromises top speed. The combustion chamber fits the VHM cylinder head perfectly and is easy to change. The last numbers of the part number are engraved on the insert for identification.
