2013> Nihilo Concepts KTM Husqvarna 50 HD Clutch Springs (X6 Springs)

The new 2013 onwards KTM 50 SX & 2017 onwards Husqvarna TC 50 automatic clutch is a vast improvement over older models and allows for on the fly fast and easy adjustment of the clutch.

Nihilo are always trying to find ways to improve every aspect of your bike and the new 2013 clutch even though it is awesome had a little room for improvement.  That is why Nihilo developed new specially designed clutch springs for the 2013 clutch that provide higher pressure and are made to close tolerances out of superior materials. When using the new Nihilo Concepts springs on the 2013> KTM Husqvarna 50 clutch you will be able to run less pressure on the preload adjuster. This does a few things to improve the operation of you clutch. First it will leave more room for adjustment as conditions require. Second it helps keep all six springs in play creating smooth and consistent clutch operation.

The 2013 clutch has three adjusters and 6 springs, what this means is there are only three springs that are having preload applied to them when adjusting the clutch. This is a good system however the stock springs require adjustment at the higher end of the range. By applying so much preload to the active springs the inactive springs play less of a roll and no longer help the active springs to do their job. What happens when this condition occurs is the clutch is only operating on half of the spring’s resistance dampening.

The concept behind the Nihilo springs is to allow all six springs to be in operation allowing the clutch to operate as it was designed to do. The clutch will have a linear feel and more even pressure as it engages.

You will find that you will be able to run your Nihilo springs at between 5 and 8 clicks about half of the preload required of the stock springs. By utilizing this lower setting you are maximizing the function of the inactive springs and allowing them to work in conjunction with the three active springs. You will also be leaving more adjustments as track conditions change.

More aggressive riders want the clutch to hit hard when the motor is coming on the pipe and starting to pull its hardest, the new Nihilo springs give you that hard hit and more adjustment than the stock springs.  Nihilo team rider Caden Braswell runs these springs in his 50’s and even in his 60cc Super Pee Wee and would not ride with anything else.

If you want the best for your rider set his 2013> KTM 50, Husqvarna TC50 up with Nihilo Concepts Heavy Duty Clutch Springs.

Racing causes extreme wear and tear on the clutch therefore it is important to inspect clutch for wear after each racing event.

Check all parts for cracks or excessive wear and replace if necessary

NB There is no warranty for Nihilo Clutch Springs
